I could write a blog. I have thoughts.

Life at the library, adventures with friends and other hysterics...

It's a green, it's a green, it's a green green light...

So weird hearing Beth Riesgraf call someone else Parker.

Even if she did preface it with Ranger.

Anyone else watching Killer Women?

Just got caught up.

She's the reason I DVR'd it in the first place. Though it is interesting watching Carla from Burn Notice play on Team Justice.

aka the good guys.

She was kind of a bitch on Burn Notice.

Today's a good day cause work flew by and now I'm back to editing.

One of my life's true joys. Writing, editing, the whole process. As long as it isn't homework that is.

I'm a nerd, but I'm not that big of a nerd.

I actually just took a break to eat and watch Killer Women but I'm headed back to the story after I post.

It's fun playing editor because you're a part of the story, but it's still able to shock you cause you don't know what's coming.

Nerd.

Get used to it.

The only problem with editing is that it gives me motivation to go back to my old stuff.

And then I get distracted.

Priorities.

I will finish that damn apartment story at some point or another.

go here.

The sad thing about that list that out of the 10 only Jax is finished.

And that's cause it was for an assignment.

Yes, I wrote about an assassin for an assignment.

And I passed.

Take that world.

To be fair Sketch and Edit are never ending.

And I should really send Sketch the unpublished ones cause I have lots.

Well, I guess I could change Life of a Teenage Writer, stick Kate in an apartment instead of a house and use that....

But that would be cheating.

Hmmm....

Just need to actually set aside time and work on it.

But gotta finish editing first.

So, music and I'm off.

Just cause I can and they're stuck in my head:

Bright Lights Bigger City/Magic - Treblemakers

Price Tag/Don't Forget About Me - Barden Bellas

looking forward to the sequel.

legit pre-midnight post, holy crap tag in use.

oo, apparently christina ricci is doing a lizzie borden movie on lifetime. she and jimmy kimmel are arguing if she's guilty or not. apparently his book saying she's innocent trumps her online research saying she's guilty.

way to go books.

okay last clip i promise.

hysterical. love it. new song to sing while driving.

There were kicks? I missed the kicks?

Okay, I have to warn you, I'm watching Castle as I type.

Best proposal scene ever.

Okay, what the hell happened to Alexis in Costa Rica?! She went from Ashley to that?!

I want a cardboard cutout to talk to.

Yay for DVR, fast forward.

Okay, sorry. Focused.

Today was dead for no reason whatsoever. I was asleep on my feet as was the library itself, we had a mad rush at closing but that was about it for the whole day. Don't know if it was the weather or if this will represent times to come...I'm hoping it's the former rather than the latter.

But again, was able to get some projects and supply stuff done so it was okay.

THEN! - and I was super proud of myself for this one - I finished one of my MAJOR EDITING PROJECTS before I let myself watch The Voice premiere.

The freakin' premiere, I am a rockstar ninja of awesome, take that world!

And you've read my ramblings about that show for years so you know how hard that was.

I did watch it - commercial free is so much better by the way - and then went on to Castle. I'll save Blacklist and 2 Broke Girls for tomorrow since I have to go in early.

Which means I'm out early too. Training in the morning, grabbing coffee and I'm on the road.

Here are a couple of my favorites from tonight. I'll attempt to keep my ramblings to a minimum.

I've Got the Music in Me - Kat Robichaud

"there were kicks? i missed the kicks?!"

i really like her. she is badass. definitely going in my top 20. kinda reminds me of juliett simms later on in the season. man's man's world with the rasp, you know? but with the attitude of jordis who was my favorite from that season so...she could go far. Team Cee-Lo!

Here for the Party - Shelbie Z

this one blew me off my feet, seriously was not expecting this from a beauty pageant coach.

and that's what the show is about no bias whatsoever. and she deserved to be on Team Blake. as did liz davis who sang it a couple of seasons ago but shelbie did it better.

I'm slowly assembling my top 20. These 2 are on it, along with a couple of others from tonight which I will post later this week. Right now it's looking like Xtina has the strongest team with 2 really crazy talented guys, which is really surprising cause usually at this point that's more of Adam's territory. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

really should be sleeping, training tomorrow so i'm out. hope you had a good one!

"And it gets worse." "How could it get worse?" "They dance."

Yay for Major Crimes.

If you haven't seen this week's episode you should watch it now.

Online if you have to, cause it's highly entertaining.

And if you have no idea what I'm talking about then you're missing out on life.

Especially if you missed out on The Closer, the show that came before it and has evolved into what is now Major Crimes.

Which I got multiple people hooked on.

Cause it rocks.

Rocked.

Well, Brenda Leigh still rocks, only now she just rocks on DVD.

Wondering how they're going to pull off the trial episode cause she'll have to make a reappearance as a witness.

Though I'm guessing it'll be years before that actually takes place.

Here watch this, it's also highly entertaining.

They did end up using that first "what" because I remember rewinding it over and over just to hear it.

Dang those non-union flies.

That's how I would sign all of my documents if I was her.

Today was awesome.

Worked 9-6 - huge amount of stats today though I'm guessing that will stop for a few days since we'll have no parking until Monday.

Ugh, Ribfest.

It was so funny the Old New Guy and I walked out together a couple days ago when they were just starting to set up and went "ah crap" at the same time.

After work came home and stayed there for the first time since last week.

This is literally the first night that I did absolutely nothing.

Except clean.

Lots and lots of cleaning.

And I finished Zero Hour.

I didn't know it was possible for it to get any weirder after that whole cloning thing but the way it ended....just....weird....to the extreme.

Revelations come to life but not.

Like the book of Revelations.

Along with character revelations too I guess.

Though I did cheer at the very last second to see the little boy and Vincent. That was good.

The rest was weird.

But I like the religious conspiracy stories - I had this conversation with a patron today - that's why I love the DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons.

AND I WILL finish the Lost Symbol before the movie comes out, it's on. I have two copies - one in my apartment and one in my locker.

It's just the whole time to read it thing escapes me.

Mostly because if I have the time to read anything it's as an editor - which I love cause Demi rocks as does her writing - I'm so far behind on any of my projects it's ridiculous.

I blame school.

Once that's over I'll have time.

Especially if the boyfriend does get switched to second shift, then I'll have nothing but free time all week.

Anyway, so the day flew cause we were swamped, got time to relax with my big fat cat after cleaning my apartment, many cat pictures were taken and uploaded to Facebook just to challenge the cat picture quota that Sketch mentioned.

Don't worry, I'm not actually one of those stereotypical librarians.

Though if he does get moved to second I might become one.

But Carter's so cute!

And with the haircut he looks like a lion with combat boots.

Cat in a box.

How can anyone resist that?

Okay, I'm done for the night, I promise.

Song of the day:

Keep On Loving You - REO Speedwagon

Yay for cheesy 80's music videos.

That's a snazzy jacket.

He should wear that all the time.

With that haircut please.

Saw this commercial and it reminded me of something I forgot to include yesterday.

Cause it's dumb but funny and we said that about it yesterday.

Anyway, we were at the lake and on the dock and he mispronounced a city's name but for the life of me I can't remember what it was and I laughed because it reminded me of a joke that one of the "Favorite Aunties" told me years and years ago.

Three guys were driving through Beatrice and they decided to stop and get something to eat. None of them had ever been to Beatrice before so they began to argue about how it was pronounced.

The first guy said it was BEatrice, the second was convinced it was BeATrice, the last guy said it was pronounced Beat-Rice.

When they couldn't come to an agreement they decided they should ask someone so they went up to the lady at the counter and said "We've been fighting about it and we can't figure out the name of this place, where are we?"

The lady looked at them and said really slowly, "You're...in...Burger...King."

See it's dumb but you smiled.

So take that.

See you tomorrow.

I'll be here.

You be there.

It's a date mate.

It's on like Donkey Kong.

It's...time to stop rhyming and go to sleep, okay, I'm out.

If I had legs, I would kick you.

Wearing black tomorrow for Fearless Leader's last day.

Still crying inside.

Today was good.

I'M APPROVED!

Well, my website at least, which means tomorrow I get to send out the link asking for their feedback and a photo to add to the profiles page. Figure I'll send out the link to the members and prospective members. Kind of their own cool place, will attempt to keep it updated as much as possible. Much easier than overloading their inboxes with random news. Though I'll probably still keep sending out quite a few reminder emails.

Mom brought me some fruit. Think this is still part of her making sure I'm actually eating campaign. Still remember her opening my fridge one day, seeing nothing but alcohol, turning around and saying, "let's go grocery shopping!" It's not that I drink a lot, it's more of the opposite. I keep receiving it and it adds up quickly.

She's got me googling the eagle. There used to be an eagle on the building across from work but when the office moved to somewhere else - theirs not ours - they took it with them.

Other highlights of the day...hmmm...oh got to plug BossLady's meter. I was stuck on an e-book question and she was on her way out the door. We switched. It was amusing though cause she gave me the right car model but the wrong license plate number. It didn't help that it was parked next to something similar and with  a few of the letters she gave me originally.

Only way I could tell it was the right car was because the other had an hour left on it and this was completely gone.

What else?

Oh, Carter has been semi-sane tonight. He's quite calm and sitting next to me as opposed to his behavior as of late.

Woops, I lied. Pulled out the cereal and now he's all ticked cause I moved.

Blah.

Super tired at the moment. Did some editing, probably should have been working on some homework but as I am the worst editor ever I chose that instead. And now I have "time", yes I have time even though I'm working, taking classes, doing homework and GA stuff I still have more time than when I was doing camp stuff and work. Granted the GA stuff and class is just starting.

Will work on homework tomorrow.

I know, this is boring. I'm sorry.

Here, fun fact for you:

Take any number, double it, add 10, divide it by 2, subtract your original number - it will always equal 5.

For example 11x2 = 22+10 = 32/2 = 16-11 = 5

or 7x2 = 14+10 = 24/2 = 12-7 = 5

Food day tomorrow, perhaps I'll take some fruit. I've got a fridgefull.

Clip of the day:

Helped a guy with some computer stuff and he brought up Charmed, like a super obscure reference. I was like, "you're a fan?" awesomeness.

"and get my hair wet?"

Oh right, Old New Guy and I are on a crusade to make "sour" a new trend. As in, "that's sour man" meaning "that rocks man."

While sour seems like it would be a bad thing it's similar to "wicked sweet" or "mad skills".

"and why is the g silent?"
