I could write a blog. I have thoughts.

Life at the library, adventures with friends and other hysterics...

we had spaghetti at our house three times this week.

Name that musical.

So I declined to post last night cause I felt like crap.

And anything I could have rambled about would have been endless and pointless.

Which I guess on here is a daily occurrence, but I couldn't muster up the energy to open up my laptop.

This was after 9 hours of work and stopping by Oldest Sister's house to show off my foosball skills, lose in some sort of war game on PS3 and then almost fall asleep on their couch until they came back.

Here's the deal, Squirt had the flu pre-Vegas. Oldest Sister got the flu after returning from Vegas. Then my brother got it. Then my boyfriend got it.

Then he got over it and now he got it again.

So my days are numbered.

And the fact that I'm exhausted and sore is an impending sign of doom.

But I'm waiting for that unmistakable bad taste in my mouth and fever to keep me from going to work.

Cause I have stuff I need to do there - too many new volunteers and TAB stuff coming up to skip and spend the day on the couch wallowing in my own misery.

I'm like Cristina like that, sorry.

But like I said, the countdown has begun. It's not a matter of if I get sick, it's more like when so I'm trying to get as much done before then as possible.

aka homework, work work, life stuff.

Only like 3 big assignments left.

IT Scholarly Paper due Friday on Koha - and summary due next Friday.

Outreach Plan due Sunday.

Reference Interview due next Saturday.

I've got the first paper laid out from previous drafts and I've already done the interview just gotta write the paper.

But I've got time. Just gotta keep up with the discussion boards along the way.

Anyway, so yesterday was alright, today was alright. Worked the weekend it was pretty slow but pretty fast at times we were closed both Thursday and Friday.

No real highlights just trying to keep my head above water.

Don't go in tomorrow until 4 so I'm headed to bed now.

OH! I uploaded my Vegas and Worlds of Fun and some NLA pictures to Facebook.

And that's all I got.

Have a good one.

Sandy!

yeah, guess which one number one in my top ten?

25 peppers to 1 salt

Apparently pepper is healthy for you whereas salt is unhealthy. So, when sprinkling something with seasoning it is better for you if you choose pepper over salt. Who knew? So she did 25 pepper shakes and 1 salt shake. Awesomeness.

Gotta love family. My aunt and uncle moved here into this like awesome house, it's seriously impressive. We all went out to dinner then came back for a tour of the house. Lots of people. But awesome house. I'm super jealous. It was funny though because they were talking about how much stuff they had and then they were like, "the only thing worse would be moving your parents." Because seriously, my parents have a lot of stuff. Model trains, old cars, beanie babies, beer mugs, who knows what else is in that basement. Madness. They're never moving. We won't let them. Seriously.

Irony is that I was just talking about my aunt and uncle today at work. They live in Iowa. I used to go over to their house and play pool then go to Adventureland and all that. Ride all the roller coasters. Fun times. My uncle used to go on all of them with me, we liked to be in the front. I would like scream at the top of the hill going down and he would just put his hands up, haha.

After dinner/house tour we went back to my sister's house where I was foosball champion yet again. Undefeated, take that! Soulja Boy and The Chad totally dominated.

Today was a good day at work, short day actually so I mostly boxed up donations instead of working more on my project. Maybe Space Cadet will be there this week to help again.

Quotes of the day:
Uncle: "Where is your food?"
Aunt: "We ordered an ostrich and they had to go find one."
It took a while for our food because they were like out of whatever so we had to reorder. But it was funny because he couldn't hear what she was saying anyway because we were yelling across to the other side of the room. There were a lot of people at the table plus the game on.

Me: "You shocked the grapes?"
My other aunt and uncle have grapes in their garden but apparently they moved them or something and they're not doing so well so my aunt was like, "Yeah, they're in shock." Grapes? Really? Sad day.

Magwilde: "It's like graveyard jenga down here."
Bonekickers, they found a tank buried with dead bodies inside.

There are more quotes, mostly Austin Powers quotes from foosball or "Listen Plastic Man" from Red which I would say to Joe when he was snarky.

Music rec: "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here" She & Him

Although I did laugh hysterically at 1:02 this video completely and totally freaks me out. Seriously. And I love Zooey Deschanel, I think she's fantastic, as is the song. But what the?

Tomorrow means work 'til 6 then head to the farmhouse to take stuff to the parentals and stay over. Catch up on my DVR. Possible relaxation. Or being forced to watch HeeHaw reruns. Which really is the opposite of relaxation. Dad and his DVR. Crimeony.

"Who buries a tank?"

Bonekickers. It's actually not that bad, even though it got terrible reviews. It's actually kind of amusing at times. Hooray for the BBC. "Result!"

Made some more progress on my jP project with Space Cadet. We're basically going through and making sure they're all ours which takes forever since our name isn't on all of the spine labels so you have to open them up and look in the back. First we did Z-P, today was started on A-E. Basically we started at the end because neither one of us wanted to do the B's. Berestain, Brown, Bridwell, Bourgeois, Bemelman. But I got sick of going backwards so I braved the wild and started at the beginning. And I found one that wasn't ours, almost did a dance! I think I did do a dance actually. But we're trying to get it all sorted before summer reading starts because after that starts it would be hopeless with all the kids going through all the time.

Now I'm headed to my sisters to reclaim my title as foosball champion and watch basketball. I fell behind on my bracket, I hope Duke picked it up last night or I'm toast. Oh well, NC and KS are still in it. I think. Like I said, behind.

Song for the night "How Long" by the Eagles

my dad would be so proud.
it's been stuck in my head so Tada! Here's the live performance from the CMA's in 2007.

"Lackey's making a name for himself!"

Totally dominated tonight at foosball. And it was on their table! With Soulja-boy as my defender and The Chad as my goalie, we were undefeated. Beat my brother in law and sister with M on my team, that was like wicked sweet. And I took on M&J by myself, which was kinda funny. But yeah, Soulja-boy and The Chad and then I had 3 lackeys that occasionally scored but not enough that I gave them individual names. Oldest sister has all of people named, as does Mandy so it's kinda funny. But I came in and dominated. Got some good quotes too, aside from the title.
M: "You stole my happy!" she yelled at her dad when she lost, it was hysterical. She's too smart for her own good.
J would do a dance every time he scored, "Bubby put the ball in the hole!!"

Anyway, worked then dinner and foosball plus watched basketball. My bracket is still in pretty good shape, aside from the Vanderbilt loss, that's gonna set me back. But still picked Duke to win, even though they're not my favorite they're still gonna win it. Then vs. Kansas in the final. NC and Florida are my other 2 final four. We'll see how that goes.

And say yes to more Maroon 5. This is in my top ten most listened to songs on itunes. It's actually number 6 which is impressive with how many songs I have. 331 times since 2008...hmmm...
Won't Go Home Without You

Tomorrow means work plus finding parking, ugh freakin' circus. Then BFF will be here for the weekend. Hooray for relaxation!

Have a good night.
