You know how sometimes you think there's someone in your apartment so you call 911 in the middle of the night?
Cause you don't want to go and see if there's someone in the apartment by yourself and be screwed if there actually is someone in your apartment?
So then you get the courage to go see if there's someone in your apartment and of course there's not someone in your apartment so you sound like an idiot when talking to the operator?
Combined with the fact that it's the middle of the night and you're half asleep so you probably sounded like an idiot to begin with?
So you apologize profusely and go back to bed then wake up hoping it was all a dream, check your phone and see nothing listed on your call history?
Yet you're 98% sure that it actually happened, but completely confused as to why it's not showing up in your call history?
Anyone? Anyone?
Just me?
Thought so.
Pretty sure there's some sort of note in my record now noting this occurrence, though I'm still really hoping it was all just a messed up dream.
Though I'm sure it wasn't.
98% sure that is.
It made for a weird morning.
Added to the fact that I had my volunteer training scheduled wrong - which BossLady attempted to tell me earlier but I had written it down wrong so I must have just told her and then forgot about the change - and then I was only there half a day.
Came home and did some practicum stuff.
Made some cool library signs and rules and all that.
AND I got to do that while watching Elementary in the background.
Best practicum ever.
Then Carter and I took a nap.
It was awesome.
Now I'm working on some editing and will go back to that as soon as this is posted.
Tomorrow is back to work.
Songs of the Day go to Elton

Rocket Man
Got the official text from the boyfriend this morning - he got our tickets to see him in November.
I know you're all jealous.
Will probably be surrounded by people 40 years our senior. But that's fine by me.
As you can see he's awesome live.
So BE JEALOUS!
Or you know, you could get tickets too.
I'm sorry, the Miss America 2014 commercial just called their contestants the most talented women in America.
Really?
Really?
I've never watched one of their pageants but I can guarantee they're not the most talented women in America.
I'm sorry.
Though now I'm temped to watch one just to see what their "talents" are.
Legitimate pre-midnight post. Holy crap tag in use.
and i think it's gonna be a long long time.
I could write a blog. I have thoughts.

Where the hell is Matt?
Okay, so this is a nightly occurrence and it still makes me laugh.
It'll be late and I'll be distracted and not realize what time it is cause I'm watching TV or reading or whatever, and suddenly Carter will come, sit on my lap and just stare at me.
Like a hostile takeover.
And I just know that he's saying Do you realize what time it is? Why aren't we sleeping? in that Garfield voice.
He did that about an hour ago, but I was enjoying Hollywood Gamenight on my DVR so I finished the episode while he fell asleep on my lap.
Then, when I actually made an effort to get up and get ready for bed he was mad cause he had already given up on me and fell asleep.
Now he's sitting on his side of the couch giving me the dirty look so I'm gonna make this quick.
Today was cool.
Am liking these half and half days.
Spent 4 hours at the work branch - nothing too exciting - took a lunch break and then headed over to see Mr. Bossman Tom for my practicum where we sorted and stamped even more books.
And uncovered bookshelves to pilfer, huzzah!
Practicum Count-up 8/90
He gave me a tour of the main building we're in - when we needed a break from all the stamping - so I got to check out the canteen and the break room and the tunnels that connect all the buildings.
There was some seriously cool artwork down there.
And on my way out he showed me this video and told me to share it with friends.
So I'm doing more than that and sharing it with the world because I like it.
Where the hell is Matt? the 2012 version
So you should all watch it because I think it's kind of awesome and unique...and c'mon it's dancing all over the world people.
I was informed that the ones where the faces were blurred out are places that dancing is not allowed.
That's right, it's like Bomont all the time.
You're welcome, people who get that reference.
If not look it up.
After the practicum I met up with the boyfriend in his favorite hardware store. He fixed his sister's car then we went out to eat.
Huzzah for greek salads! half of which is in my fridge.
Then he headed back to go to work and I watched Hollywood Gamenight and now have moved on to Wipeout.
I know, I know, but it's filling up my DVR so I have to watch it.
Besides, I love it.
"Life's a beach and then you dive."
Ah Henson, okay I'm out.
That was your music and clip of the night rec. I hope you all enjoy your weekend. Mine starts tomorrow cause I have the day off and am spending it sleeping in, shopping with Oldest Sister and then date night with the boyfriend.
Don't call me before 10AM!

"I boss with her golf."
"Wait."
I miss the Library Goddess.
It's been so weird not seeing her almost every other week.
We met up for supper with the new GA - another one of my fun classmates.
It's semi-depressing because by the time you finally get close to your classmates you're done with the program.
But I guess that goes with the whole half online thing and then half only meet once a month thing.
The meeting was fun.
We did more joking around than business as usual.
I've learned not to argue when the check comes. Though it was highly entertaining because we all ordered these burgers and they were MASSIVE but I'm pretty sure we all ate like 10 bites total.
But that's okay, more leftovers for me.
I told Superwoman I was going to dinner with the LG and asked if there was anything I should pass on - cause they're friends and they fight about who's boss #1 and who's boss #2 - and she said, "nah, we'll talk about you tomorrow at golf."
Not cool.
Oh, and apparently she'll always be my boss, even if she has a new GA.
We've already had that conversation.
Glad to end the night on a high note as the preceding part of the day was crazy.
Lost my datebook - but it was in the car. I seriously need to duct tape that in my pocket or get a tool belt or something.
Was on the front desk the first 2 hours and I think I got like 2 minutes of peace the entire 2 hours.
Which is good, I'd rather be busy than bored.
Chicken sandwich for lunch. Apparently they're doing specials every day now instead of Thursdays. Which is good for when I only get half an hour to eat.
More busyness in the afternoon but it did slow down the last hour so that I could update my TAB stuff and come up with a semi-plan for my weekend schedule.
The semi-part included marking down the weekends that I know I can't work and then planning to talk to my boyfriend about the rest.
Easier that way and I always feel bad when I ask to switch with people.
Though it's hard to know your schedule 5 months in advance.
Especially this fall with the whole practicum thing.
I'm thinking instead of working every Saturday from mid-August to December 1st that I could work every other Saturday and then I'll just use 8 hours of vacation every other week.
There's no way I can keep whatever sanity I have left if I work every weekend for months and months.
"She's got it made, Marian!"
Sorry, more Wipeout.
Another way to keep my sanity in place.
But now I'm zonked. Another long day tomorrow so I'm off to bed.
Oh PS - Karmin's new single has officially been released on iTunes so you should now all go and buy it.
Why yes, I am aware that this is the third time I've posted it in like 3 weeks, but that's only cause it's that good.
More sanity.

"I have come here to kick zombie butt and chew bubble gum... and I am all out of bubble gum!"
Oh, Wipeout how I love you.
Got to spend the day at the home branch with the new supervisor.
Lots of fun.
Though we were swamped cause we were closed yesterday.
Showed up and we had an entire bookdrop cart that maintenance had brought in the night before overflowing with stuff, plus whatever was currently in the bookdrop.
And no tubs to send them in delivery so it was just carts and carts of stuff.
Then our internet was down cause they were updating software so we only had one functional computer.
And then once it started working the other one went down along with the patron internet computers.
Patrons were not happy and neither were we.
But it's supposed to be much faster now.
Anyway, we were swamped, people everywhere and constant stuff to do so the day flew by pretty quickly.
After which I had to go save a fish.
Got the panic text from Squirt yesterday while lighting fireworks asking if I'd feed her fish and then close the door so the cat wouldn't eat said fish.
She was bummed when I closed the door.
Aw, poor Dumb as a Post.
She answers to that you know.
And Fluffy Bunny.
Cause she's fluffy.
Though not quite as fluffy as Carter.
Speaking of which, Carter needs to be shaved.
Perhaps grandma can find someone to do it while I'm at camp.
He is her favorite grandcat.
She may not always admit it, but I'm pretty sure she misses him.
He loves the farm.
Just not so much the farm cats.
Anyway, after saving the fish and feeding my cat came the homework.
He called it the "Final Exam" but it was actually three papers combined into one. Six pages and I'm done. Emailed it in at 10PM that's a whole 2 hours before the deadline.
I know you're all proud.
So I'm officially done with Library Systems!!!
Well, the class.
Next up Foundations.
But all that stuff is due end of July so I'm gonna take my time with it.
Going to enjoy my weekend off first.
Headed out of town to celebrate my brother-in-law's 40th birthday.
It's not so much a surprise party when he helps plan it.
But it's gonna be fun, dinner in the old market and then walking around downtown before heading back to the hotel.
Second Sister is excited cause they have a hot tub.
Though they own a hot tub so....
Anyway, I'm excited to be done with homework for the week and that I get to sleep in tomorrow.
And then upload even more camp stuff as that is coming up fast.
And I've gotten like 20 envelopes in the past week.
All huge so I'm guessing there's more than one application in each.
Which is good.
As long as they're counselors and teen helpers.
Cause I have like 2 teen helpers total at the moment.
Aaannd that's all I got.
I know, I'm boring, I'm sorry.
But I'm sure I'll have more entertaining stories to tell after the birthday shindig.
Song of the day:
As always, after I finish a class.
Because I want to throw my notes up like that but don't have the energy to clean them up.
So I'll watch Blaine do it instead.
Pretty sure this is the most posted song on this blog.
Except for maybe Shakin' Stevens or Sam Phillips.
Just means I've taken too many classes.
Alright, I'm out. Back to Wipeout.
Have a good weekend.

you're my shooting star.
Oh Davies, what a day.
Yikes, haven't said that in a while.
Today was great.
Periodicals and new books in the morning, then some time to do supplies, worked the desk for a few hours, got a polish dog for lunch from the place I really need frequent flyer miles from (i go there basically every day, their entire staff knows me by name) watched Total Wipeout during lunch (yep, flew through the American then Canada then Australian ones, now I'm on Britain) and then the afternoon was the art show.
Huge success, had at least 50 people come in and check out the artwork whilst my TAB kids played music and directed traffic. Had one kid play piano, one played violin and the other two played clarinet. I was very impressed, especially by the eldest she really took charge when it came to playing and talking to people.
But then again all of my kids are awesome, I was just super proud of them today.
Tomorrow I'm sure I will be again - we're jamming out at the mall to celebrate Read Across America - aka Dr. Seuss's birthday - so we're doing some facepainting, handing out bookmarks, signing people up for cards, reading stories, etc.
Should be fun.
And that's all I've got for you because it is currently 2:40AM and I really need to be sleeping.
Stupid homework, I'm ready for graduation.
Was talking to Superwoman today who was like, "you'll have 2 doctors in the family when you get your PHD in Library Science." Think I literally laughed out loud. Told her I'd think about it after I get married which Queen of the Known Universe pointed out probably won't happen for another ten years - scroll down a post - so by the time hopefully she and the Library Goddess will forget about that idea.
Hey, inflation says I've got 5 years to get married. Oldest sister got married at 21, brother at 24, second sister at 27 so I've got 'til 30.
So even if it is just 5 years hopefully they'll have forgotten and moved on, cause there ain't no way I'm going back voluntarily AGAIN.
Once was enough. Even if I have flown through the program.
And gotten all A's except for that one A- ugh.
Nope, ain't happening. As much fun as it is - and I say that sincerely, I do love it - this is enough for me.
December and I'm done with homework eternally.
Please quote that to me in the future if I ever have thoughts about going back.
I'm counting on you to save me from the stress and frustration.
Cause I need sleep!!
So, music, fiction and I'm out.
Goodbye to You - Michelle Branch acoustic version
classic. she was great solo, but love her even more as The Wreckers with Jessica Harp. but you've already heard me ramble that tangent.
and then just cause i think it's funny...
Betty Glover's Library Workout Tape from 1987
"stamp, stamp!"
Do have to say the cutest thing today was seeing the 6 foot 5ish security guard walk hand in hand with a 2 year old to go play with toys in the youth services section.
Almost swooned, which is weird since I don't plan on having kids.
My mother hates it when I say that and his mother told us she wants 3.
Yeah, dropped that bomb about 3 months into the relationship so apparently she knew it would last before we did.
Moving on.
In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni - Part Four
I’m moving. They must have put me in the back of the pickup. I can feel the wind pass over me. Of course I can’t tell for sure since there is something over my head. My head hurts. I try to reach for it but my hands are tied behind my back. I sit up and kick out my legs. Something jumps. It must be the girl. I can hear her whimpering across from me.
“What happened?” I ask.
She sniffles. “They hit you from behind with your gun.”
That’s why my head feels like it’s going to explode. “Where are we?”
“I don’t know. They put something over my head. I can’t see.”
“Are you restrained?”
“Yes.”
The truck slows down as they turn onto a bumpy road. Back roads. Less people. Not a good sign. I try to pull against the ropes that are tying my hands. It hurts but the blood that it brings forth is worth it since it makes my hands slicker. I think I’ve almost got one hand free when the truck slows down and comes to a stop. I freeze and just listen. Rock music. Windows must be down. Doors open. Pause. Doors slam shut. Footsteps. Tailgate is opened. Then the truck slants as one of them gets in the back.
A hand grabs my arm and pulls me out of the back. I fall, not being able to get my footing in time. The taller man takes the bag off of my head. He smiles at me, his gold tooth shining in the moonlight. I look around and see a pond next to the blue pickup that drove us here. There are trees surrounding us on all sides. Private property maybe? They pull the girl out next. She falls beside me. They take off her hood and I can see the marks her tears have made on her cheeks. She doesn’t make a sound. Smart girl. You should never show fear to your enemy, but it doesn’t really matter, they’re going to kill us anyway.
“Get up,” he says, kicking me in the back. I use my hands tied behind me to push off the ground. I turn around expecting to see the girl doing the same but she hasn’t moved. He grabs her by the hair and pulls her around to the front of the truck. She whimpers but doesn’t scream… much. The headlights are on, shining toward a gap in the trees. She finally stands and he pushes her toward the gap. I stop, looking around for the German. Maybe I can make a run for it. I hear a gun cock behind me and feel it being pushed against the back of my head.
“Don’t even think about it,” says the German and kicks my leg, propelling me forward. I follow the taller man toward the gap and see uneven grass. Hills. Tiny hills. Graves. Not good. The German throws two shovels toward them and cuts the rope binding my hands. “Dig,” he says, pointing to a spot next to what looks like the most recent hill.
Yikes, haven't said that in a while.

You asked for a large bag of hair, on the way to Taganskaya Courthouse.
Bruce Willis trying to speak Russian and the cabbie saying what he actually said.
I'm paraphrasing, I'll fix it later.
Yes, this is late but at least it's posted.
So it's been a whirlwind of a day.
Woke up feeling like crap, headache, runny nose, sore throat but it's all mental so I figured I could power through 8 hours to get to the 3 day weekend. Though it occurred to me that if I called in sick and then took vacation on my birthday I could have like 5 days off in a row.
But I would go insane with boredom.
Anyway, another slow day for stats, think I increased to like 30ish, which isn't bad I guess though like 15 of those were electronic assistance cause it seemed like everyone was having problems in the lab today.
Watched an episode of UK Winter Wipeout at lunch.
I'm working my way through the other countries cause I finished the USA version, all that's online anyway. Then it was Canada, then Australia now UK.
I can always tell who's in charge of schedules for the day by checking the time I'm scheduled for lunch. If it's Bosslady I go at 1, if it's my other supervisor I go at 12. But that's cause BossLady knows I prefer 1 cause it breaks up the day, hour-wise. 4 stations in the morning then lunch then 4 stations in the afternoon.
Not important, anyway, I can't really remember anything spectacular about this afternoon, after awhile they blend together.
After work I picked up the Queen of Awesome as she is car-less and dropped her off at her place then like a crazy person decided to drive to the farmhouse stopping to see the boyfriend on the way there.
Which was stupid cause the roads are awful.
Was literally sliding all over the place, at one point I had my foot on the break for like half a mile and the car wouldn't stop. Glad the car ahead of me was far enough away for the car to just coast out. Otherwise I'd have to drive on the grass to avoid them.
It made for an interesting ride. I kept switching songs thinking, "do I really want to die to this song?"
Really weeds out the favorites in your playlist.
I know, morbid, sorry.
Here are a few surprises:
Be My Escape - Relient K
love these guys.
The Beat Goes On - Sonny & Cher
wow they look young. and happy.
guess history really has turned the page...
Anyway, these 2 are catchy but with the Beat Goes On it was like background noise cause I wasn't paying attention to it - I was actually focused on the road - but you know when you get like halfway through a song and then realize that you've been singing it from the beginning but didn't even realize it?
Or is that just me?
Delayed...Reaction used to karaoke that song all the time, but I haven't been there in years.
So I stopped by the boyfriend's place then went over to see a few of his friends. After that we hit up Die Hard 5 aka A Good Day To Die Hard.
It was pretty good. The boyfriend jokes that in the next one he'll have a walker. But he is in his 60's I believe so it is feasible.
Still fits the character perfectly.
"Need a hug?"
"We're not a hugging family."
"Damn straight."
Basically storyline is his kid gets in trouble - he hasn't seen him in years - so he goes over to talk to him and ends up getting caught in the middle of his son's mess.
"The 007 of Plainfield, New Jersey."
Keeps claiming he's on vacation like pretty much every other Die Hard movie.
Scale of Awesome puts it in the 7/10 range so not bad. Not great like the 1st and 4th but still better than 2 and 3.
It didn't help that the girl in front of us wouldn't sit still, she was driving the boyfriend nuts. And the rest of her group talked and texted through the whole thing.
We couldn't decide if they were high school band geeks - were conducting the opening orchestra - or just really annoying college freshmen.
In the end we decided freshmen.
Afterward I made it to the farmhouse unscathed.
Probably not so smart to drive home in that weather, but it was worth it. And I'm pretty sure the parentals wanted me to come home as I haven't been often lately.
What's interesting though is I think the last time I lived a full year at the farmhouse was in the 8th grade because I went to a dorm high school and college, then right after college I got the 2 jobs and moved out completely.
And the last time I lived here longer than a month was 2008 cause summer of 2009 I was taking care of Grams.
Weird.
Speaking of Grams, been working on some family history lately so you may be getting chunks of that throughout the week.
Interesting fact is I have so much more information on my dad's side than I do on my mom's. But that's cause I grew up half a mile away from them and went over there every day after school.
The irony being that the matriarch who could tell me all the stories I'm seeking on the other side of the family doesn't remember them.
Or me.
So I'm screwed there.
Sorry, morbid again, I know.
But I gave you the music rec's and the Scale of Awesome rating so I'm out. Have a good weekend.

she walks like she talks and she talks like she walks...
Short day today at work, went in at 11:35, had a lunch break somewhere around 2, got done at 6:05.
Super slow today, mostly cause there was no parking due to a very loud and crowded event on the street directly outside the library.
Queen of the Known Universe was not amused.
Even though the crowd was slow the day actually moved by fairly quickly.
And I got to work with some of my favorite people, Slim Shady, Queen of the Known Universe, Girlscout, Mentor - there's usually just five of us on Sundays, though today it got cut down to 4 at around 3 since Mentor headed out for the Summer Reading event at the Saltdogs game.
At least it was nice weather for them, I was worried it was going to rain.
So yes, my day was fine and normal and then I check my phone and read that Grams is in the ER cause she fell twice.
So I called all frantic and the Cool Aunt and Mom and Grams are sitting around laughing it up attempting to distract her with funny relative stories. Apparently no injuries, just a walker for the prescription which...okay Grams is a tough woman and a bit stubborn so when I heard that I laughed because I knew that she would be ticked.
Like seriously ticked.
"He's gonna get it back in his face" ticked.
Sorry, favorite quote of hers though I'm pretty sure Mom was mortified when she yelled it at the de-suited Santa.
Go here: She deserved the truck and a load to go with it.
Hey, the woman hates spinach.
Lay off.
Anyway, so I stopped by after work.
The beauty of Alzheimer's - notice it's just "the" as there's really only one - is that she also forgets the bad stuff so by that time she was over the whole ER waiting for the doctor to sign off thing.
Mom said that I needed to talk up the walker so I commented on it's red-and-shiny-ness.
She was less than enthused about it.
And attempted to pawn it off on me as I left, but that's a longer story.
We decided today at work that I'm screwed.
On one side I've got Alzheimer's and the other I've got dementia.
So basically I'll be seeing horses in the chicken coop but forgetting about them a few minutes later.
Hopefully I've got some time before that takes over.
My brother, on the other hand, just turned the big 4-0.
It's birthday season in our family, there's 3 in August and 2 in September. To celebrate the August birthdays we - my siblings and I - hit up a Saltdogs game. The boys prefer it to be dollar hotdog night - one year my brother got 4 hotdogs and ate 2 of them by the time he got back to the chair.
But that's always fun, pretty sure you've got 2 entries on here alone talking about our exploits - "love mom" - and then one on Oldest Sister's blog as well.
Alright, emotional rollercoaster of a day and seriously, I'm on a roll because I don't go in until 4 tomorrow so there's been a lot of actual sleep lately which rocks cause I feel like I'm finally getting over the madness that was camp.
Clip of the day:
cause i find it amusing, especially the bus driver dance at the end.
love the background music. that's niiice.

here with you, here with me.
Damnit, Hardison!
Finally caught up on Leverage. Finished the fourth season whilst working on camp stuff.
That's called multi-tasking.
Now I'm on to Wipeout so I can sleep.
Gotta say, I miss Jill but really don't mind this Lachey chick so much. Though I did totally miss that he got remarried.
Not that I was big into 98 degrees. More about the Spice Girls and NSync.
Today seemed to fly by, that's probably cause I got to sleep in and didn't go in until noon. Woohoo!
Was a quiet day, not sure if it was caused by the Batman movie tragedy or the weather. Either totally suck.
I haven't checked on it for a while, did he explain why he did it?
Other than the fact that he's the Joker?
The role only belongs to one man and he's already dead.
Stuff like that is awful. I just don't understand it.
My cat keeps biting me.
I know that that problem is small potatoes compared to what else is going on in the world but it's still obnoxious.
The water bottle did work for a while but now he's not phased.
It's annoying.
Excited for the shortened day tomorrow, mostly cause I get to take pictures of the Food Drive sculptures. Cause I'm nerdy like that. Will probably upload some if possible.
After that it'll be more camp stuff.
I know this post is total crap, I'm sure I'll have plenty of quotes tomorrow.
I'm on it.
Just for you.
Here, have some more useless information:
-X's on letters originated as crosses back in the 1000's. When lords would sign their names they would kiss the cross after signing to signify they were faithful to god and their king. Over time it slanted to x's.
-Each deck of cards represents a major pillar or economy in the Middle Ages: Heart is church, Spades is military, Clubs agriculture and Diamonds merchants.
-Most of American car horns honk in the key of F.
-Most toilets flush in E flat.
-It is estimated that millions of trees are accidentally planted by squirrels who bury acorns and forget where they buried them.
-There are three other versions under the current Mona Lisa.
-There is such thing as coffee-flavored PEZ.
-Honey is the only food that won't spoil.
-According to US laws a beer commercial can never show a person actually drinking a beer.
I'm doubtful about that last one, but come to think of it I don't remember anyone drinking one during a 30 second segment.
Will have to look into that.
And here's some fun quotes from Rocket Power just cause I can
-"that should be on the to-don't list."
-"you're like a sixth finger. it just gets in the way and it's kinda freakish."
-"i pulled a bobby brady, dude!"
could have sworn this one was titled "these are the moments" but maybe that's just cause it was our prom theme.
or cause she repeats it a lot.
yes, prom theme.
the one the boyfriend took me to senior year.
drove the tbird as it's his favorite.
i like the vette, but me and my then boyfriend drove it the year before so had to switch it up.
he lived in fear of my mother driving his car back to his house.
he's kind of a car nut.
but that's okay, i like my boys geeky.
Speaking of geeks I should crash while I can. Big day tomorrow.

Do the Bookdrop!
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo doo-doo-doo doo,
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo doo-doo-doo doo.
It's catchy in the morning when you have to get the bookdrop but gets really annoying around mid-afternoon when it's stuck in your head and everyone thinks you're singing 'the hustle' then laughs when you tell them your lyrics.
Time: 7:55 PM
Location: Couch
Music: Hey Soul Sister - Glee version
Attitude: Conflicted, too many things to post, will have to condense
Yesterday was 9-5, (yes Sarah I did sing Dolly Parton just for you,) then pizza with Grandma (the 25-year-old coworker that calls me 'youngun') and watching some Burn Notice with the Wordsmith.
It was funny because I still don't know where anything in town is so I asked.
"How do you get there?"
"You go out the door. You turn right. Then turn right again. Or get in your car and drive half a block."
Thanks for the sarcastic directions Cabin Fever...And the recommendation Girlscout, the pizza there was excellent! Huge slices.
So we saw the King's Speech which totally deserves all 12 of those Oscar nominations btw, Now we're just debating what movie to see next. Black Swan looks interesting. Superwoman gave it the thumbs up. I like Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis so it's a possibility. Grandma was like, "they say it's a psychological thriller. I want to know what that means in the context of ballerinas." I guess we will have to see.
Burn Notice is getting better and better as I go along. Fiona and Sam are hysterical.
Today was 9-6. This morning was fun. There is like no room in the picture book section so Space Cadet and I went through and shifted. Oh man. Sent 56 books to bindery and there's still no room.
It's sad. At some point today I lost my quote. I carry or carried around a quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald in my back pocket for about a year now, wait, ya more than year. But I lost it somewhere between libraries. So hopefully, now somebody else is being inspired by his words. So, I wrote it out again - different paper, same words. Will it have the same effect? We will see.
Tomorrow means 9-12 then homework. I've read some of the textbook, tomorrow I gotta read a few more chapters and upload my notes. Should be interesting.
Now I'm watching Winter Wipeout. I love Wipeout, it's fantastic. My Grams and I watched it when it first came out and I've stuck with it ever since. Too funny. The commentary is excellent and the contestants, oh man. I love it when they get cocky then get smacked in the face by the big balls. I think this guy is about to cry. I'm saddened that the only girl to make it to the final showdown didn't win. But she did beat that cocky sign language interpreter so it's okay.
BTW - just so you know, thinking that the ground is pretty when it's sparkly doesn't make your immune to falling on it.
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo doo-doo-doo doo.
